I founded Knowhowe in 1993 to help private equity investors and senior management unleash revenue potential by removing barriers to rapid growth. I am a former CEO with a strong track record of success as an executive, consultant, and coach. Knowhowe provides strategy consulting, operational execution, and executive coaching. Most of my clients are located in the United States or Western Europe. I joined a client company in 1999 and for the next seven years worked as a full-time executive in VP and C-level roles.

Often my clients already know how to address their key issues, but it can be difficult to picture a map of the forest when you are wandering among its trees; that’s why an objective, external perspective can be so powerful. My consulting and coaching clients are treated with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.

John Howe

I am a dual citizen of the United States and Britain, originally from the London area. My career began as an accountant and I became fascinated by why some clients’ businesses made money while similar ones did not, so I completed the MBA program at Virginia Tech’s R. B. Pamplin School of Business to study corporate strategy and to learn what most drives business performance.

After my MBA I worked for a software vendor, becoming their top salesperson worldwide. A few years later, I emigrated to Silicon Valley to turn around an underperforming business as General Manager.
